In depth discussions and analyses of how the homeowners will live in the proposed spaces. Dialogues include number of bedrooms and baths, size of rooms, and functions of areas. These visits can be quite detailed and typically a preliminary budget is established.
Multiple variations and presentation of concepts. This part of the process puts the program into a buildable, livable floor plan, typically involving multiple revisions until the home design is perfect. This step also may include presentation to a design review board if necessary.
The drafting and fabrication of all architectural and structural drawings required to permit and build the home, including specification and detail drawings.
Commencing with site clearing and excavation signifies the start of the physical building of the structure. During this time, budget and construction schedule becomes critical. Material selection and finish selections are confirmed and the project takes shape; becoming a physical reality.
The final step in the process. The project is complete down to the "brass tacks". Everything is done and ready to hand over to the owner. If there are any punch list items, those are identified and completed. This is the time to enjoy the beautiful, collaborative creation that began with just an idea.
